I know it’s not easy— but it’s worth it.

For everyone who is putting in the long hours, pushing their minds and bodies to their limits and showing up every single day to do the work... I see you. Keep grinding.
I woke up tired this morning. My legs were sore and my mind wasn’t ready for my 6am jog. But I went through the motions, I put my running shoes on, started a good playlist and hit the road.
I’m in the process of training for a Marathon at the end of the season and I’ll tell you one thing; it’s not always fun to wake up early and get a run in before work; but I do it because I know it’s worth it.
As I continue to prioritize my health; I know not to push my body past it’s limits, but I also know that I am capable of great things. I know this because I have challenged myself in the past and continue to tell myself just how strong my body and mind are.
This isn’t easy. I know plenty of you who are putting your body and mind through similar things right now. I’m here to tell you to keep pushing.
Even when you’re tired, and feel like giving up, keep going through the motions until it becomes habit. Keep showing yourself what you are truly capable of and work through the hard.
I know you are waking up before the sun to get those extra chapters read. I know you’re spending an hour a day at the gym after working a 12+ hour shift. I know your feet hurt, your back aches, and you feel like you have nothing left to give— keep working hard. I know it’s not easy, but it‘s worth it.
I might not know who you are but I know what you are made of. Because even when no one is watching, even when you are working toward your goals with no recognition and no encouragement from the outside world you keep grinding. You are capable of so many things, and I know you will reach your goals.
Show up. Put in the work. Don’t quit when it gets hard— quit when you’re done.
